Giving Hope to Over 700 Families!

These sisters did not have any food. Their mother went to work and had not returned for three days! They were so thankful!

The COVID-19 virus outbreak has affected so much around the world including our ministry travel plans this year. The airlines recently informed my wife and I that our flights were canceled to Myanmar and the Philippines, so Janeth and I have postponed our ministerial trip, however we look forward to it in God’s perfect time.
Janeth and I have been led of the Lord to start a fundraiser to help send money to pastors that could buy food to distribute to their communities. In these nations many of them have just enough income to provide for their families, and most have not built up a savings account. Many are unable to work now due to the government’s lockdown orders, which is greatly affecting the people. There are some Philippine politicians that mean well, but most of the people have not received any assistance due to corrupt politicians. So many people are in desperate need of food to feed their families. Myanmar 1
With Janeth’s skill of sewing she has been making cloth facemasks and selling them throughout the month of April. I have been helping her with a lot of the prep work that is involved. All masks making materials were hers and some were donated to help with the cause. All proceeds have been sent to ministers overseas to distribute food to their community. cag2This relief effort has given a lasting impression of hope that is being shared from the body of Christ to the world amid a major crisis. We had hoped to raise, through selling these facemasks, at least $2,000. People from all over the US have been ordering these masks and we are presently near $3,000! Every cent has been sent to provide food along with a Gospel tract to those in need in the Philippines, Myanmar and Cambodia! So far over 700 families have received these family food packs throughout Asia! Glory to God! 94128060_922937374840880_5575737873790926848_o

This woman was so happy that she actually cried when she received the food pack!

The mask making project has now ended, but I would kindly encourage you to please take this into a matter of prayer and see if the Lord would lead you or your church to help give a gift to feed a family in need. These acts of kindness certainly help to give hope and share the love of Christ with those that are really in need in such a difficult time. In the world many people are uncertain about their future, but for the believer we can rest assure knowing that Christ is in control and we can continue to show the love of Christ. Please visit out Donate tab to help feed a family that is surely in need. God bless you all!mind2
